take it to court anyways. if he doesnt show it gets dropped.
Or just gets a continuance like any other court case... Depends on the reason for him not being there and the mood of the trial judge of course...

Good to know i can deny a cop putting my windows up but by that point i dont think it would matter.
Let me know how this tactic works out for you...

you know they dont pull u over for tint right? they pull u over cuz ur 16 and drive a loud, nasty Mustang that conviently has tint on it. it amazes me how im 17 and drive a loud, nasty Mustang with 3.5% tint, not to mention i drive like i own the road but i dont get pulled over cuz i look like im 22.

U have to know what to do when there's a cop suspiciously close to you. When there's a cop in your general vicinity treat it like the popo just rolled up at a party. Quickly but casually remove yourself from the situation without drawing any attention to yourself. Use side roads and neighborhoods. There's WAY too many "Ifs" but if a cop is clearly following you pretend you're going to a friends house. Pull in someone u know nearby's driveway u know get out the car and ring the doorbell

Or you just dont drive like an asshat and drive normally and they cant pull you over??? Sooooo dont drive like the itiot you say you do. And if they actually for some reason pull you over AS you are doing so.. Its going to make them more suspicious and your gunna get it even worse.

Nasty mustangs? Is your cobra SCed? I like my car, but i dont consider it "nasty" by any means.. Too many cars on the road that can stomp on our cars too easily.

And Reaper. I doubt ill ever do it. I prefer not to give them reasons to be pissed at me. Most are cool around here, and like i said no one has messed with me yet. So im not too worried about it. My neighbor has had 20% on his 2 red mustangs(94 5.0 and 87 LX) and they never pulled hiim over. Oh, but then again he didnt drive like an itiot either..

It does let light out though so it's irrelevant.

I've read the Inspection manual while I was in Auto class for NJ and it stated that there could be no obstruction of brake lights, headlights etc whatsoever. When I was younger everyone had those tinted plastic covers, now its the spray on tint. It reduces the effectiveness of the equipment and they will win that argument in court every time.

Kraut, you should trade your car for a legally tinted new edge...

he would want the new edge with less miles than his car and 2k cash on top of it. It would never work.

i bought a Cobra, ima drive it like a fucking Cobra. Drive it like what it is or dont buy it.
i cant really describe the "ideal" thing to do in every single situation, cuz there are way too many scenarios. like i said just act like 5-0 just rolled up at a party. quickly but casually remove yourself from the situation, but dont draw any attention to yourself. trust your instincts

1. im in high school, i dont have wads of cash to throw at my car. i think this about the nastiest car i can get considering my incredibly low budget.
2. there are zero fast cars in my town and a shitload of ricers. so when theres THREE muscle cars (me and two z28s) in the school parking lot, you just get used to being able to walk on anything beside you at the light.
compared to the cars on this forum, no my car is not nasty at all. its all relative.

Nope. Lights should light things up. Tinting them is fundamentally counterproductive to their core functionality. Putting axle grease on your tires would be similarly genius. They'd be all nice and shiny, but not workie so good.

that was funny. :D

I need to hold up the "tinted lights suck" camp all by myself, which is okay with me.

I think I'm with ya brotha. Can i get an amen!

Amen!

Yeah I gotcha, each state is going to differ though. the spray on VHT is nothing like the plastic covers though, those actually hindered quite a bit of light output.

i bought a Cobra, ima drive it like a germinating Cobra. Drive it like what it is or dont buy it.

Dont correct me on spelling on the fucking internet there guy... k thanks..

Right i get your relativeness with removing yourself from the situation. And you are correct for the most part. But why do you need to, if your not doing anything wrong, and they have no reason to mess with you? Thats what im getting at. And what you said could have been takin as doing it in a suspicious way. So that you have to be careful of.

Ok. I get in your HS, yea you prolly have one of the best cars there. So propbs to that and baggin what you can with is. So good job on that. No doubt. But aight as long as you realize that, and its all relative to the situation your into day to day. I then regress with my statement on that one. Hope you pull some good ass with one of the better cars at your school

Cops around here are dicks. Especially campus police who are everywhere. U can't get pulled over for "taking unorthodox routes to your destination" but the longer that cop is behind you the more likely he is to see u do something he can (and will) pull u over for. So it's best to remove yourself from the situation. In general they won't follow you through a neighborhood bit if they do that's when u pretend to be going to a friends house

If a cop is going to stop you and write you tickets pulling into a random driveway isn't going to save you. My friend got pulled over in his own driveway once lol.
