Yes, that's a good overview of the basics for a good detail.

there's a few places that sell kits with a Porter Cable, and some pads ect ect.
juztang has some package deals.
you can start with a 20-30 dollar cheapo from autozone if your not sure.

that same company from the link has one that's 200 bucks
my friend has a buffer that i used once but it was FREAKIN HUGE and i didn't like using it....
Yes they're usually kinda big. like training wheels.

Thats wierd...I find that doing it the other way around is better.
Do a coat of pure carnuaba to bring out the color and then the sealant to keep it there for a while
