Griggs GR-40 Spoiler Knockoff?

I know Griggs engineered it, but it would be a kick in the balls to pay 450 dollars for a spoiler. Anyone make a copy?

dude it looks like u could make that with a piece of sheet metal and some rivets.

That's what most people do on real race cars. They use Plexiglas to make it.

I most definately do not have the skills to do that. If someone else manufactured it, I'd buy.

Maier Racing builds a similar out, but I think the one they make is actually taller than GR40 one.

Isn't the GR-40 spoiler carbon fiber? And I've seen alot of SCCA cars that have the plexiglass spoilers.

Yeah, it's CF. They also used to have one made from aluminum at same price.

I actually really like that. And the front GT bumper they have. Both are probably future purchases for my car.

If it wasn't so damn expensive I would at least think about it...I can probably get one made out of carbon fiber for cheaper, lol. Now I just need dimensions.

Yeah...now somebody make it outta carbon fiber then make a mold, and then we can make a carbon fiber piece.

I think it looks better without the brace-things on the back.
Oh...say I can get 2 of these made would anybody be interested in buying the 2nd one?(this is still up in the air, but if we have enough left over carbon fiber I was told that the carbon fiber guy can make me one in a couple hours)
