Harwood hoods

Is there anybody here with experience with the harwood hoods, in particular the heat extractor riser hood? I've heard that there are some fitment issues with Harwood.

The picture of it with that hood as been passed around for years it seems like. He parted and sold that car not too long ago.

my friend has the 4" harwood straight from summit. had a body shop guy glass in some mounts and a hood strut brace so it acts as normal. still needs pins and with the stock hinges it doesn't lift all that much (hits the windshield) fits great but its a bit tall to see over.

they seem to be good quality from what I've seen, personally i would go with a 2" but not much more.

I think it just sticks up too far for me...
