first of all, welcome!
second of all, get to a computer and post some pics!

i would start with a gt40 intake and maybe the gt40 heads if you feel up to the job, that would give you a nice bump in power.

welcome. it all depends on your budget. you've got all the small things already. you might want to change to long tubes, but u'll need a new h-pipe. gt40s will help, but you really should spend the extra buck on some edelbrock, trickflow, afr heads. you'll spend more, but you'll have a better head. Custom ground cam is great, but tfs stage 1 (stage 2 if you feel frisky but you'll HAVE to have a tune and may have clearance issues) steeda 19, ford racing e cam, are all great proven cams for our cars. Whatever heads you get, get an intake to match. Trickflow offers a complete top end kit, lots of guys running it, and loving it. what ever you do you should have it tuned, as you will be leaving performance on the table if you do not. good luck and above all else have some friggin fun with damned thing!

Welcome to the forums. The very first thing I would do is a full tune up (spark plugs, coolant flush, brake fluid change, trans fluid change, fuel filter, ect, ect) before anything else. Second thing I would look at is what suspension parts or bushings need replacing. Then worry about go fast parts.

i dont think losing the dumps will give you very much loss.

i have an off road h pipe with flowmasters, and its quite loud, but not too loud, its pretty close to perfect.

There also seems to be a popping sound when taking off in first sounds like in rear. Possibly something wrong? And I see that brenspeed sells there tune using an sct3 tuner. Anyone used there tunes?

the poping may be a lower control arm in the rear or maybe a broken torque box, both r common. i've got the quarterhorse from moates, but i would NOT recommend that for a begginer, its a very complex tuner. you'd be good with a mail order chip probly, i think its called dirty dirty racing is very popular on here.

Welcome!

There are a lot of ways to go with your car. I like the GT40's, but I went TrickFlow and So Far Ive been really happy. My mods are in my sig and to be honest, even with a TFS1 Cam, I need a tune. Anyway, Welcome and yeah get some pics!
