Re: Just bought my HIDGuy lights...

Pics of said white HID lights. I WANT to buy HIDs, but I HATE the blue tint they give off, it's too tuner/euro for me. I love the look of the Flex HID's at work and the GT500 ones, but those are with projector lenses too.

stock are going to be right around 4300k, so if you like that color get that. they don't all give off blue tint, mine are 6000K and they aren't blue.

I bought the 4300K, so white. I didn't put on/in. It was cheaper than my other 2 sets, though. I think he knew of stuff by the 3rd time, maybe? I'm pretty sure they make up for my lost light per my smoked lenses, though. Night & day better than my halogens, I know!!!

how was install?
to me install was a breeze, only thing is dont touch the bulb of course, hardest part is finding a place to mount the ballasts. i ziptied my fog light ballasts to the splash guard i think on the front bumper and for the headlights i just slid one ballast between the battery and engine bay and the other between my cold air intake and engine bay, sometimes my ABS light does come on but ive heard thats normal.....other than that my kit was literally plug and play, course where my ballasts sit are only temperary, just havent gotten time to rearrange them to look stock

Re: HIDGuy lights, pics on!

Here they are. This is my 3rd set. By far the best ones I've bought. I still can't see crap, though. Why I never drive @ night.

I wore glasses pre-brain injury. They were just like for fine tuning? My eyes now are really bad! Even worse @ night!! It's just safer for every body for me to drive during the day. Just part of the new me.

Im sayin even with my 6000k i can see fine, but its got the blue tint to it which isnt good for my cobra. ive driven a few cars with the 4300k HIDs, even the girlfriends navi has them and they are so much better than mine...yea my smoked headlights dont really help that much at night time driving but i can still see a TON better, like you my eyes are bad but from basic training.....FYI when a flashbang is whistling and sparking, dont look at it

These were a little more, actually my 2 other sets together were about the same. These are as good as them both together, though. Glad I bought these. I might eventually get the fogs? Just don't know since I have them wired to stay on always. Need to see if it's worth it, $ wise. Thanks!!

I have the smoked lenses. Sure they aren't as bright as they should be, doesn't matter though.
