Tap into the wire for the dome lights, that's exactly what I did for my LED footwell lights

yea he wants to know what color wire it is. Unfortunatly I have still not got my car back yet. There are 4 wires in the passenger side A-pillar that go up to the dome light. With a volt-meter you can test them and see which one goes on with the door but I can't remember if its neg trigger or pos for the life of me.

On my car it was switch (black/white wire in the A pillar) and one to ground (black wire)

Of course you should always double check with a multimeter

I would like to think that just like I do, everyone on here tests the wire before they hook it up(takes 5 secs total) but I would probably not want to know what % actually does it.
