So is it possible for me to replace the T-Lok on my own??? Thats whats up with my (busted) rear end.
What all would be involved if so? I might grab a nicer, like detroit locker, or something and throw that puppy in there if I can do it on my own.
Thanks for any input guys.

I already have 4.10's installed. Like Ryclef said, whatever happened to my rear is a freak accident kinda deal. I dont need to upgrade right now, so all I'm really worried about is getting back on the road. So is it really complicated and involved to switch out the t-lok? If so I have a whole new (used) rear lined up.

No, not hard at all. I've done it before. I needed to take it to a shop to have the ring gear pressed off the old. Other than that just have a travel dial to make sure your backlash is with spec when you reinstall the new. I'd rebuild the t loc, add the extra clutch, f150 s spring and call it done. I rebuilt one like that before and locks up great and cost me $75 for the rebuild kit, spring, and an old tloc unit.
