I have a wet kit on my 94 gt that is completely stock engine. Been running a 125 shot, My question is has anyone had an engine let go at this amount, or how much more could i put in to it. Had it at the drag strip friday night ran 13.52 @ 106.30mph. Wanted to try to hit high 12's, has slp exhaust and 3.73's. Was thinking maybe a 150 but it may be to much?

My buddy has a stock 95 Cobra - he sprays it with an NX 150 wet shot. He has not had any problems..and he has had it for over a year :dunno:

Thanks for the info, ill pull some more timing out and try a 150 shot. Sounds fine running a 125, no detonation, plugs look good.

It's more about the tune than the amount of nitrous. For the sake of the hypereutectic pistons, 150 is a safe bet. Although more is certainly possible, I wouldn't spray it on my car if I had to drive it to work the next day.

I ran a 200 hit on my 95 for two seasons until my trans let loose. drove it 50 miles round trip to and from work 6 days a week. just watch your tune and run good fuel. good luck!

BTW, with a 100 shot and 3.73 gear, i went 13.1.... you need more traction... the 106 MPH is good for a mid 12

race gas would help, but on the 200 hit, I just removed more timing to be on the safe side. I had 10* retard in it, i could probably have gone with 8* total timing removed, but this was my only mode of transportation at the time.
I also had a WOT switch and a RPM window switch, i had the spray come on at 3Krpm, then off at 5800rpm, and i would shift as soon as i felt the spray turn off.

the 89 mustang had forged pistons and can take lots of spray.the 95 is a hyp. piston and nothing over 150 is safe.I sprayed a nx 150 kit on my 95.when i did my tfs top-end kit and sc the pistons looked fine 500 miles later with sc i burt # 5 pistons.so point is nitrous is safe when used correct.if your spraying a 150 shot i hope you have 1 stage colder plug and timing backed off around 4 degrees.I would also run a seperate fuel line and pump for nitrous.do you have to have it no.should you have it YES.good luck and enjoy the giggle gas.I use it to cool my discarge air on my sc

I had a 95' with bolt ons and stock heads and cam. I was safe with it by only running a
100 shot but I ran bottle after bottle through it. I also had timing pulled, colder plugs,
255 pump, and all of the N2O accessories....watch that nitrous pressure and spray in the
right RPM range!

BTW, the best time with my car was a 13.0 @ 107......needed traction.
