Y'all say that is 'bling', right? I take that as an insult, oh well though. I call that word something I'm not supposed to say out loud. I bought 2 cans of black spray paint. I'm going to paint each piece to black. It will take me a long time to get it done, but I'm thinking about that right now.

It started with my liking my stock E-brake handle.

I have the stock handle, and it buzzzes too. drives me nuts. now the new center console piece, around the vents in the center rattle like crazy. aargh.

So why do you wanna paint your billet stuff? I thought about doing it to my car, but it doesnt look that good if you dont have stuff done to the car, like nice paint, cool seats and the light bar. Since your car has the cool mods to go with it, I would keep them.

I love all the pieces in billet!! I just like more that handle in black! I figured it would look kinda weird if I painted the billet cover to black & left the rest in the natural billet color.

Speaking of that sound, I heard it or like a long time! I have no direction of sound, I can't tell where sound is coming from! I just learned to live with that sound. Drove me f'ing nuts! On the morning that I took my car in, I found where it was coming from!! I'm surprised I remembered it when I got it back 227 days later. Just removing it was easier.

I drive my car with the windows down all the time, so the buzzz and the rattle dont get to me as much now.

I think it would look fine if you left that handle black, and did the rest billet.

I wonder if you can get a leather cover for it? I think the cobras had a leather cover, like the steering wheel covers, but I cant remember.

Sorry, I have no idea what cover you are talking about. Cover to what?

On steering wheel, I have the FR500 with my saddle air bag cover on it. Just tell my cover to what? Sorry, guess I had a brain fart!!

Sorry, just sunk it about your windows rattling! I think mine does that just because my car is 15 years old! I have found a way to stop this. If you barely roll them up, it gets them in the track thingy. It keeps them from rattling. I remembered this trick very well. It may help you.

If I were you I would trade the billet for someone's stock pieces +cash for you...paint isn't going to stick to those pieces very well.

I meant the emergency brake handle, some cars came with a cool leather cover. I think the later Cobras did, not sure. I think that would loook as good as having billet on the emergency brake handle.

I bought every piece like 3-6 years ago. I don't think it would save my any $, really. I really haven't had time to think about it that much. Cross that bridge when I get to it.

I have every stock piece still but 1 side of the cruise, maybe the on/off? A member on here needed that, & I sent him mine!

I bought a Billet 5.0 emblem for where my ford went on my trunk. I had it painted when they painted my car. That was a diff kind of paint, still paint though. It stuck to it just fine. Not sure why it wouldn't to my interior stuff. Just realized this, 2 days later.

I meant just spray painting it won't turn out very good.

Of course a body shop will paint it great...but just taking some spray paint to it don't expect the paint to hold up. Especially on the pieces you touch often (AC knobs, headlight knob, ect)

Just giving you a heads up.

I'm debating painting my billet pieces to black. If I need to, I can get it done @ the body shop. So car paint!!
