OK Been awhile since I last posted, been working on my 86 Capri RS. I found a very interesting car and I have a few questions.
Anyone ever heard of a Japanese/Phillipines SN95 Mustang? I found this 95 GT for sale, and all the writting under the hood
and inside the car is japanese. Speedo reads in KPH, and all units of measurement are in the metric system. This car has an
odd looking front spoiler, and what looks like Boss Shinoda whel flares, and a small decal on the drivers window that says
FORD PACIFIC FLEET....ANyone ever hear or see one of these?

There used to be a guy on here with one awhile back. They made cars for Europe/Japan. They had everything you described and export tails.

The export tails being the ones that had the Amber colored plastic in the lense instead of all red correct?

I should add that most of these Japanese cars are totally rust free, when winter strikes in Japan they dont grit the roads with the same salt we use in the UK which leads to most cars rusting away faster than you anticipated.
Add to that they are usually garaged and driven mainly on fine days as weekend cars so tend not to get too much abuse. Mine had just under 50 thou on the clock when i bought, nothing for a 10 year old car [at the time].
Most of the export parts are the Canadian fittings [i'm sure] amber rear turn signals [as per the UK too] fold in mirrors and KPH speedo plus a few other minor changes, though mine has a MPH speedo now to keep me happy.
The wheel flares on mine are genuine Ford [no odd spoilers or stuff] not sure about the Pacific Fleet bit though.

The fender flares were required for Japan. Ford offered them as accessories for US cars. The flares require the '94/early '95-style rocker moldings that don't have the angled caps at the front.
