I swear. Got the motor running, everything working. Lights working, was going for exhaust tommorrow. Everything great and dandy. Last night i'm working on it, and suddenly smokes billows from the dash. Wires grounded out, ate up my entire dash harness. And this is only a week after the catastrophe of a motor. I wasn't doing anything either, just working on the front parking lamps. Didn't even have anything on. My luck with this car is HORRIBLE.

Well, at least your motor didn't blow again.

Think of it this way, everything you fix won't need to be replaced for a long time, and the problems can only get smaller.

Is it the original harness? If so just think of it as something you should replace anyway on an old car for safety and reliability. I've pulled them out of cars from the 80's that were dried and cracked and yours is even older....

When you are done it will be just that much sweeter!

I'm going to take a break. I just don't want to spend the money. I've spent so much already, worked so hard. It's disappointing. Just give it a break.

I know exactly how you feel. Sometimes its hard to see the end with problems stacking so tall sometimes. Give it a couple days and see how you feel about your car and then when you do end up fixing it you'll love it

Well its more about just watching shit I've already done go up in flames, constantly. More or less I expect something else to go boom as soon as I fix something else. lol

With some cars that seems to happen all the time. Usually the more you love the car, the more it pisses on you lol. But take a couple days off and then go tinker some more. Like you did with the motor. Just need a little break.
