having reached the limit of my 19 # injectors its time to upgrade.
So far I have managed to source the following from fellow Mustang Owners Club members here in the U.K.

1) Granatelli MAF callibrated for 24# injectors with cold air.

2) 23 # EV6 injectors from a 99 cobra ( they were cheap and local !!!! )

I have ordered the adapter plugs to adapt an EV 1 style harness to EV6 injectors, so physically fitting the EV6 injectors is no problem,
but I am beginning to wonder whether these 23# injectors are going to be OK with the 24# cal'd MAF. Are they close enough not to worry about or am I heading for problems.
Your advise appreciated.

99 Cobras did not have 23lb injectors. Infact no one makes 23lb injectors for a Mustang.

i wasnt aware of that, 23 lb injectors. you can try it, if it dont run smooth, might have to get 24lb or recalibrate the mass air

NO ONE MAKES 23LB INJECTORS. IT IS 24LB INJECTORS.

And why the hell did you buy the wrong type injectors? Send them back and order the correct ones.

Just to clarify, these injectors are used ( 10,000 miles ) CHEAP and were on my doorstep here in BIRMINGHAM ENGLAND .

The adapters were discounted to $44.

I realise this was not the ideal purchase but remember when we in the U.K. import stuff from the States it effectively doubles in price by the time it is shipped and duties and taxes are paid.

I respect the knowledge and experience you guys have, which is why I am asking your advise as to the suitability of these injectors.
If the consensus of opinion is that there will be a problem with them, then the chances are that the clubmember I bought them from will have them back and I will just be out of pocket by the cost of the adapters.

Hope this puts things in perspective and makes me look less of a ----head

looks to me like those would work fine

23# vs 24# isnt a huge ordeal... you will run a bit leaner than normal, but that can be fixed in a tune

The down side of living over here is that no one is set up to tune these cars so I hope just turning the fuel pressure up will suffice.
