Sand on that freeze plug, it should polish right up and no more rust spot. Looks good in there.

I've been thinking about selling mine... but I put too much time into it.

thorco and Onyx, i'm def gonna sand and polish the freeze plug! It's just hard to juggle work and stangs! I'm gonna get to that this weekend. I replaced my upper rad hose and did a little more detailing yesterday. Will update with pics later! Thanks again for the kind words folks!

LOL Soldier, only if you got some cash for me when I arrive! Thanks everyone. The finish is the factory silver powdercoat. It cleans up very nice. The BBK 75mm TB is not overkill IMHO. The opening on the GT40 intake manifold is 70mm so it's not too far off. Just reset my timing this morning, put it at 14* and yes, the thing pulls nasty. I can't wait to purchase my AFR 165's! sn95gtvert, none of my bolts were rusted, but a few of them did have rust dust forming. I cleaned them up with a wire brush and applied some ARP thread sealer on them and reinstalled.

you are super lucky! its good to hear everything went smooth it looks killer. my swap should be done tomorrow, i went with a 70mm performance products tb and i thought it was gonna be to much.

to bad you live so far away, i'd love to make some pulls against you.

He would smoke you... Blue is slower than DFG anyday.. haha j/k

haha blue might be slower the dfg. good thing my car is teal!!

I love your intake sooo much. It looks nioce. I wish I had a big wad of cash to wave in front of your nose for it.

DFG- Your car is just getting sicker and sicker. You oughta pop that Coild bracket thingy off and spray paint it or something, that's what I'm planning on doing until I can afford to have some stuff powder'd.

Looks great man and for the record there is no Chinese copy of 94/95 Cobra intakes. You have either the original Cobra intake or the Ford Racing version (which I prefer the look of and I happen to have :p )

Looks great. I've been waiting patiently for the same upper/lower to come up for sale.

In the last pics (further down in the thread) what's up with the long rusty looking bolt at the front of the upper?

LOL. You found it. I had to use some FOX intake bolts b/c the ones I had weren't long enough. I'm gonna cut the studs off of them and sand them down and polish them. They are temporary! There is one on the front and back of the intake. I have to replace my low side R134 AC line as well. Rust formed on it from being under the radiator cover. I got my cobra u/l on here! Just takes patience and money! Another one will surely pop up sooner or later.

street combo. I like the factory look of the combo too.
