Very cool. Car has made a lot of progress. I'm amazed that 5 years later your stock intake (plastic coolant crossover) is still holding up.
I'm surprised too...keeping my fingers crossed.

I'm planning on delving into the motor next year after I graduate...once I make some real money.

Thanks for all the compliments guys, its been a lot of work, and a lot of fun.

Re: JB's Build Thread

Things TO DO this summer:

18" Black DD bullitts (getting a good deal on them from a friend)
Put carpet on my rear seat delete, and bolt it down
New Chin Spoiler
Smoked tails
Paint some engine parts

I'll keep you guys updated...hopefully I'll have the wheels in the next 2 weeks.

You know, I really want to check in on this thread but even my 10m cable connection screams when the page tries to load. LOL

Re: JB's Build Thread

that's awsome to see the progress of your car Johnbeast.
Very nice work man.

I miss your polished cobras... they're expensive, I know that. I want new wheels on my car but they're always being trumped by other things...

that tire shot, with comments is great!

Update 6-2-09:

Two steps backwars before I take one forward! Took off my chrome bullitts to sell them...and replaced them with "loaner" stock bullitts from a friend...new wheels in the next week or so.

Interior is holding up great...the paint chips every now and then...but I just clean it up and spray it again and its back as good as new.

I'm still debating on what finish to go with...still need to get my chrome bullitts sold before I make a decision on new wheels.

Re: JB's Build Thread *Update 6/2/09*

Finally this thread made it to page two haha, takes too long to load...

Yea I have definitely considered it...but I am trying to stay reasonably priced with wheels this summer...looking for used FRs or Bullitts...

I have a bunch of other plans for the car this summer and I don't want to blow my budget on wheels like I did last summer haha

Nice sounds like it will be a nice day when those parts come in. I am still wanting to do the HID's in my car yet i need to replace the header panel behind my lights before i do so i can have full adjustable functions.
