Re: JB's Build Thread *Update 7/1/09*

They really do look good and I see what you mean about the compliment of the hard and soft.

I think where I went wrong on the last set of bullets is I went with 17's. I have chrome 18" Y2k's now and the size is perfect but the chrome takes away from the color of the car. :0( Wheels are such a touchy thing for our car. (And especially our color)

As for a bunch of cars having bullets, I know what you mean but, any car is going to be hard pressed to stand out because of wheels anymore unless we buy $3k wheels

Your car looks great! (now make it fast)

Re: JB's Build Thread *Update 7/1/09*

Thanks!

Yea sxynerd I know what you mean...18s look amazing compared to 17s...18" bullitts would look great. I almost had a set of 18" DD black bullitts...just couldn't wait any longer. I may still buy them for winter wheels haha

I agree...chrome doesn't work on our cars...especially with all the black accents.

More power is in the future...don't worry...I'll be doing it right

Droptop...are you happy with ur 281 spoiler? I think I remember you saying you weren't too happy with it because it wasn't very tall for a vert?

I'm leaning towards a Kaenan...they stand up a bit taller than the origional Saleen pieces...

I'm not a fan of the s281 (especially with Cowl hoods) on verts because there's not enough meat on them to support an even look from the side profile. It looks out of balance.

What spoiler would you go with?

I'm sick of my stock one...want something new...but I don't really like any other spoiler but the 281 haha

I went with the Roush. because it's different but subtle.

There was a spoiler that was made by saleen, I think it was called a T1 . It is similar to the s281 but taller. Its a little to tall for my taste but you may like it. I will look for some pics.

Edit: found a pic on a vert

Yea I know what which spoiler you mean...I don't think they produce it anymore.

Its a little too tall for my taste as well.

TigerRacing makes it still and it's $500! If that wing wasn't so freakin expensive it's what would be on my car right now.

Yea...$500 is pretty steep!

If it was a little bit shorter, I would love it...just a bit too tall for me.

No i wasn't happy with my S281 and traded it for a Steeda. I think it looks much better on the vert with the hood and style bar.
I haven't started my car in like 2 months :(
I was planning on playing with it some this weekend.

Oh that Xenon spoiler is nice but does not cover the holes in the trunk so some body work will need to be done.
