I know what I'm doing tomorrow now. Haven't messed with my shaky mirror since they're painted and the body is in great shape. Good info.

I think I had better luck adjusting the mirror inwards to get a good grip on it. It came apart a lot easier than I expected, and in one piece so I don't have to send Mustanger any mail. :headbang: I'll have to road test it and report back.

That's why I don't yank my mirror out. Export mirrors have different glass and not as easy to replace. I moved my mirror down and squirted a little glue on the connectors. Worked good enough.

I don't know where I would go to get replacement glass. I think Matt was trying to find a place to cut him a piece for his driver side.

Looks like the right place...my GT mirrors were different... wherever it snaps on to hold the mirror is the place

After almost 2wks of driving around with no drivers side mirror i finally got it back on.

ATTENTION EVERYONE: Do not assume it won't break, ASSUME IT WILL BREAK. Since i have painted mirrors replacing the mirror wasn't an option.

After a shitload of sanding and JB welding it's back on...what a clusterfuk.
