Lmao it was my old one.. And it was so dirty nasty it would NOT come clean no matter what I did so I threw some paint on and not 2 minutes later it was on the car, literally. Then I hated it lol. And a buddy of mine got a new one for his car so he gave me his old plenum/tb off his 03 and it only has 20k of use on it so it's brand spankin new and clean as can be. I hated the red to be honest but I wanted it to look a little better than dirty metal lol

Well I find working on the Mustang keeps my mind off other shit so today I painted the billet grille black (billet was oxidizing, plus it's just too much silver) painting the lower grille black right now. Installing fogs with ddm hids, then new mach lip and that should complete the front end for now

This car is driving me insane. Now the power steering line got crimped and is leaking hardcore. Still need to replace the broken coil. Still need exhaust bolts, still need to find the metal intake duct that attaches to the MAF... Man this sucks..

I wonder if the old one from my car would work. I was looking at some of the CAI offered online and it, depending on the brand, looks like you could probably get it to work. For example the BBK CAI looks like it holds the MAF in around the same location as the 5.0L so maybe there is potential?! I don't know, just thinking out loud.

what did i tell you?

joey why dont you sandblast the plenum or soak it in lacquer thinner? it'll come out great

Touché lol. And yeah man at some point I might but I don't have access to a sand blaster

Now to complete the black front you need 01+ Headlights or tinted ones. :D

And no pics?? How dare you!!! haha

Mehh it looks great like it is haha. I uploaded them to my FB but I'll upload here later. Tapacrap wants to charge me to upload lol but I might have a few free left..

Btw I developed a squeal coming from the rear end when cold. It's not the gears, sounds more like a pinion bearing? Or maybe the u joint I dunno. Any ideas?

Can any one tell me why the fawk there would be signs of wear on the driveshaft?? It's all nice and shiny which means it's recent... Could it be what's causing my squeal that just will not go away? ?

I can't upload any more images through tapacrap and my warehouse doesn't have Internet :( but it's on the end of the driveshaft where the u joints go in...

Check the ebrake cable bracket thats riveted to the driveshaft tunnel. I had mine come loose in my 94 and the cable wore a spot on the driveshaft. A drill and a couple nuts and bolts later and it was fixed.

svt slobra nope Jimbo it starts squealin like a pig after about a minute or 2 of driving. It starts at about 5mph, goes on till I stop at 5mph again. Then when it gets warm it goes away. I have no fawking clue. So to get rid of it I just turn the music up rill rill loud. Shit man I had Hatebreed playing through my ipod and Anthony said they could hear it (the music) on the highway when he was behind me hahahaha. I was mad at squeal.. And wanted world to know I mad at squeal :angry4:

I don't care what anyone says.. With a head unit that has great tuning abilities like mine, the Mach 460 BUMPS for a stock system man. My mirrors shake and shit. And when sittin still you can feel it like a 10 in the trunk no kiddin. That Kenwood double din has the same adjustments my old Kenwood has and I got the Mach bumpin, but not like my double din Pioneer..

Been awhile since I updated but as you all know my old rear end got fukked up. Ended up being a bolt backed out and got lodged in between the gear ring and the diff and ISN'T coming out. Got a new rear end from a 98 cobra with Auburn pro diff, moser 31s, 3.73s, downs diff cover and cobra brakes.. it's a nasty setup. Went to install it today and it started off smooth. Got to the LAST BOLT and like everything else, hit a snag. I swear i live my life one bolt at a time. Lower control arm bolt was seized into the control arm. Had to cut it with the sawzall and ended up messing up the control arm from bending it... man those things are cheap stock.

Well heres the new toy
