Let's pretend I traded my 4v for a pushrod Cobra. I throw on AFR 185 heads, a Holley Systemax Plentum, an F-cam, cold air, and full exhaust. What kind of RWHP am I looking at?

pretty close to the 300 +/-
if i were you id get a blower, injectors,fuel pump and a tune youd be close to the 330.

blower might be cheaper then the HCI, As a matter of fact,there is a blower on the classifieds for sale for a hair over 2k with everything to install

I've always thought about trading for one because I think I could get some cash with it towards my car. Then my plan would be to forge everything and put a KB on top. I'm not near as enthusiastic as pulling and building a 4v for that purpose lol. But I guess I'd be at the same power level when I'm done, except the Teksid will take a little more abuse, like a 200 shot :angel4: Of course if I traded I could go to a 347 and be pushing 400 before FI. There's too many options!

Lol if I wasn't so partial to Ford I probably would. I am envious of that motor. Even the LT1 you can make over 400hp N/A with the right H/C/I. But now we have the NEW 5.0 which decimates all. When they're 10 years old, $10k, with magazines full of bolt-ons, it'll be hard for anyone to buy an LS1 instead.

i bought my iron block 6.0 LQ4 (LSx based motor...similar to LS2) for 900 bones intake to oil pan...and yes, I'm putting it my stang. But back to your original question you can make 300 rwhp with the combo you posted.

Easy 300rwhp, maybe a bit more. its easy to make 500+ with H/C/I and a blower, btw.....

95jeffgt makes a lil over 350 with ported TFS heads, tfs intake and an alphabetic cam on a 306.

Dude, if you're going to be swapping, might as well go for a GT. You'll be able to get more money with the trade and if you're building the motor anyways, there won't bemuch more difference between the two.
