i dont know about you guys but the more i read about my car and other american muscle cars(yes even camaros and firebirds) it makes me happy. im so pround to say that im the owner of an american muscle car! i can honestly say that i wouldnt have it any other way! when you look back on all the classics i get the feeling of excitement and pride. sometimes just looking at a muscle car can bring a smile to my face. and the more i learn in school about cars the more i want to have to do with them. i eat, breathe, and sleep cars! it wasnt always this way though. i always liked cars but was never really into them until i got my car then my interest just took off! it started off with a few articles in 5.0 mags and then whole issues of muscle mustangs and fast fords. to endless hours on the internet reading about all makes of muscle cars and finally me enrolling in school to become an auto mechanic. i know that im not the only one! if you read this and understand me then tell me how you fell!!! :headbang:

I understand how you feel completely, once I got a mustang... I was hooked on cars. Especially American Muscle. I took 2 years of Auto in highschool, and then learned how to paint cars in college. I do like my 5.0 mustang, and I don't care if it is close to stock... it brings me enjoyment. Just knowing the history and technology put into our cars inspires me to dig deeper into the car world.

Yes, I'm into American Muscle, not just mustangs, and it's also the reason I have a 1969 firebird that I am restoring. I like perfomance cars, especially American ones, which once stood as a symbol of America for being a leader, and a true performer... Unlike today in which America is flooded with Liberal minded buffoons and totally uninspiring cars... which are basically worthless pieces of lameness right off the assembly line.

So no, you are NOT alone, and remember put God first, and you will be rewarded.

Pre-coma I was like that! Now, only like Mustangs! The Challenger is pretty cool. I will never buy a foreign made car!! I do love American made, in that sense.

Pff you call your SN95 American Muscle? Puhlease.

Just kidding man.

I've ALWAYS had a love for cars. Blame my VW obsessed sister and her collection of Hot Wheels. I loved the old Mustangs but I was big into 4x4s so my first car was a 95 Bronco. Then I go tmy 95 Stang and sold the Bronco (stupid stupid stupid) and then got my 67 Coupe. Its an addiction for sure!

I can either A) Put money into a girl and get nothing much in return(besides sex) or B) Put money into my car and it gives me make comfort, good looks AND performance :). Im hooked on cars too, have been since I was 4. Heck, in grade 4 everyone was reading small novels, I was reading a 5.0 mustang mag :p.

I hear ya'll man. I like all kinds of american muscle, and a few imports (supra), but i have been in love with mustangs since i can remember. My grandpa gave me a '65 2+2 when i was born, and when i was in preschool my dad would pick me up in his '71 and i'd be talking him into getting sideways on the acceleration ramp. I've had mustangs in my veins ever since. Wouldn't have it any other way. :headbang:

Yea, my wife and I have had the musclecar bug for many years. It's in the blood. We met street racing in the '80's.... imagine that!
I've had many and rode in many of my friends musclecars. The '60's and '70's models had REAL attitude.
I guess that falls under "Back in the Day".....
