No problem, I'll let you know.if you sell your sportlines, i may be interested.
Nothing needs to be done for the upper. When you install the X2 Balljoints, you need a bumpsteer kit to go with them. I chose Maximum Motorsports, but there are others to choose from. the balljoints and bumpsteer kit took time to align but have worked out perfect. No noise, ever. I hit an asphalt curb accidentally, knocked out of alignment, shot all of the dials in car to back seat, sounded like a bomb went off, but the X2 balljoints held their own, only broke an interior control arm. Construction company forgot to cone off the road, police showed up to cone it afterwards-Yeah that's pretty much the stage I'm in right now lol. That's why I keep asking so many questions. I've decided to get the steeda lower ball joints. But do you need to do anything about the upper ones?
So what exactly does a bumpsteer kit do? Can you get away with delaying it for awhile?
NO, Bumpsteer kit is needed with X2 balljoints and is recommended when lowering the suspension. So what exactly does a bumpsteer kit do? Can you get away with delaying it for awhile?
Yeah Thanks ,the best part is that ford C-springs aren't real stiff they ride like stock , it was tough to get it to sit right ,here a few more pics.Your "after" FRPP "C" springs turned out perfect! Congrats on great job. I did simular and I know its not easy because you can always cut a bit more off but can't put it back! Looks great.
I bought a set of the SVE springs and thought they would be as low as my Sportlines. They are actually a bit taller and when I installed them on the rears & dropped the car back down last weekend, it sat to high for me, granted they may have settled some after a while but I pulled them back out.Thumbs up for all you with the SVE springs, You've probably seen me post a suggestion to check rthem out. They fit perfect and everyone seems so pleased with them...
