Yeah that's pretty much the stage I'm in right now lol. That's why I keep asking so many questions. I've decided to get the steeda lower ball joints. But do you need to do anything about the upper ones?
Nothing needs to be done for the upper. When you install the X2 Balljoints, you need a bumpsteer kit to go with them. I chose Maximum Motorsports, but there are others to choose from. the balljoints and bumpsteer kit took time to align but have worked out perfect. No noise, ever. I hit an asphalt curb accidentally, knocked out of alignment, shot all of the dials in car to back seat, sounded like a bomb went off, but the X2 balljoints held their own, only broke an interior control arm. Construction company forgot to cone off the road, police showed up to cone it afterwards-

So what exactly does a bumpsteer kit do? Can you get away with delaying it for awhile?

Correct Bump Steer. Eliminate bump steer by correcting the front end geometry of your Mustang with the help of Steeda's fully adjustable kit that replaces the stock non-adjustable components that came from the factory.

Great for Lowered Mustangs. The Steeda kit is recommended for all lowered Mustangs with X2 ball-joints and/or caster camber plates and features spherical rod-ends with tapered shafts for a hassle-free installation that requires no drilling of the spindle for proper fitment.

Adjustable. Steeda designed their Bump Steer Kit to be fully adjustable to allow you to fine-tune the bump steer geometry of your Mustang for improved steering response and balanced handling.

You will be EXTREMELY happy with the H&R springs. They will depress, you just need quality struts/shocks to comfortably rebound.

Your "after" FRPP "C" springs turned out perfect! Congrats on great job. I did simular and I know its not easy because you can always cut a bit more off but can't put it back! Looks great.

Yeah Thanks ,the best part is that ford C-springs aren't real stiff they ride like stock , it was tough to get it to sit right ,here a few more pics.

Thumbs up for all you with the SVE springs, You've probably seen me post a suggestion to check rthem out. They fit perfect and everyone seems so pleased with them.
JOSH- I totally agree with you in regards to the FRPP springs. I'm using the "B" springs (which I got along the struts/shocks Fox Body style) and the ride is kinds like stock new -like maybe. Mine had 250K miles on them. These here "B" springs are out of this world soft, rigid on bumpy roads and what we called "old school- Rides like a Caddy". I'm very pleased with no dipping forward on quick stops too. It's all good, just like gravy.

Good info in here. I have H&R super sports and I think they are giving my tokico blues a run for the money. I really think Im going to have to step it up to blisteins becasue the rear springs are giving the shocks some exercise. Especially since I live where the roads aren't the greatest.

I bought a set of the SVE springs and thought they would be as low as my Sportlines. They are actually a bit taller and when I installed them on the rears & dropped the car back down last weekend, it sat to high for me, granted they may have settled some after a while but I pulled them back out.
I wanted to be a bit lower, not higher, so I ended up pulling all isos from front and back and putting the Sportlines back in. It now is, to me, noticeably lower, netting about another 1/4" - 3/8" drop and am very happy with the results. A short test drive produced no ill effects.
I may sell my SVEs or just keep them to "modify" if I want to go lower in the future.

I think the weather's going to be good for a stretch. I'll put the insurance back on it and get out to snap a couple of pics with the same title as ^^ 98rocket ^^. I've been itching to get it back on the road again
