I'm sensing a socal SN event in the near future.

Edit: sorry don't mean to clog your build thread.
Haha. No worries. There is an event on the 14th of Jan and 22. Both autocross events at autoclub speedway.

For those who follow me on Facebook or Instagram, seen that I've been battling issues with the rain. Since I have a fender mounted CAI, and no splash shield, when it rains hard, my engine thinks that it can compress water. So it sucks it all up. Then it starts drowning. So someone mentioned the JLT pre filter. Decided to take a video under the faucet and see how water repellent it is. It did an ok job. Second day of rain and the engine is drowning again. So it doesn't work for water.

Posted the updates, and JLT didn't like what I had to say. Oh well.

Bwahaha on the JLT side. I didn't think it rained in California though :)

LOL ya..Whatever floats his boat. And apparently it does! we've been hit with flooding every time it rains. And its been raining almost everyday for this month.

Put the splash shield back in on that side. LMR has them: https://lmr.com/item/LRS-16102CR/94-98-Mustang-RH-Inner-Fender-Splash-Shield. $45 and it is cheap insurance, motors do not like water.

Autocross, yesterday. I did good for such an underpowered and overweight car. as always. Best time of the day was 33.xxx on a 90s Turboed and stripped Honda Civic on Hoosiers. My best time you ask? 37.448. So about 3 seconds behind the leader. Not to bad. I am uploading the last batch of photos from yesterdays event. here is the album link: https://www.flickr.com/photos/xdxpx/albums/72157679435614165

Almost done uploading the videos too. Playlist link: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLXoF2D7ZsyWe93nd8kZaHLTXx1lLr2lWu

I'm so pissed at myself for not buying the 265-40-18s before they sold out. Good pick up!

Another SCCA event. Brett was my instructor for 2 runs. Lots of good tips that i tried to apply to the last run, but my ABS isn't working and my power steering overloaded and caused the steering to lock up, as you can see in the video. Time to work on those issues.
