Re: Making A Rear Seat Delete Kit

Sounds good! I'm not as smart, so I could not make my own. I bought one from American Muscle. Got it for Xmas, actually! It has no logos though. It does have one on the trunk side, I guess. I'll have put in as soon as I get my car back.

That's what i am thinking of doing also. Then my girl will really say my car is a money pit. HAHAHAHA Take some pics and do a How to if you can. That would be great to start a thread and document the steps. I am going to start with a cardboard cutout and go from there.

I did it black because im doing my whole interior black!! ordered carpet already from 50restore.com tell me what you think... And i put the fire extingisher there for an extra touch..

I can make these out of any kind of wood.. I did it with 1/2 inch wood... But its light wood.. weighed it at 16.5 pounds..

Nice work. The fire extinguisher "mounted" is a tad ricer IMHO, but the seat delete is well done.

I guess so... But its a easy place where i can get ahold of it if i need it.. now if i put it on the A piller then that would have been rice

if the RSD weight it is only 16 lbs you can make some dinero there.

I don't think that's the best place in terms of access. It's a bit of a reach. Behind the driver seat or the passenger footwell would be better.

ya... It all depends on what kinda wood you want... theres thin quarter inch wood that weighs less.. its flemsy so i went with a little heavier wood
