we are super close to get the car together and wondering what to do about wheels ...when a friend called and said he was hard up for some cash....i got me a set of weld pro-stars 15x3.5 with 165's and 15x10's with some 275 d.r. right now for 500 bucks i dont think i did to bad imp: i will go down tonight and get pics i forgot my camera and then it started raining so i said screw it....they look nice the rears need rubber but its alright...makes me really want to lower the car now its got BAD wheel gap hahaha
that was my plan also and he was like i got these spacers with them if you want them you can have them...so i figured it would be easier...i dont really like how they stick out but its less destructive this way and knowing me i would take to much off and my calipers would fall off or something at the end of the track and be screwed
i was dissapointed when i found out that my telstars wouldn't clear my GT's brakes without spacers, now they stick out like craazy and i have massive negative camber.
i know with my 3.5" wheel and 165's i can look at it from the front and the wheels sit just slightly past the fender line kinda looks goofy and i hate that its a 4x4 stance because i can see into the massivly huge wheelwell with nothing in there haha
hey d what size rubber did you have in the back with sportline springs?? i need new tires and was going to get mt et streets 28x11.5 but i think those will be to big with the drop maybe i should get the 26" tire
On the front, I run a 5/16th spacer and did alittle griding on the cross bar and they fit great and sit just inside the fender. As far as the rear, I have 275/60/15 Nitto's and they measure 28" and my car is lowered about 2" and they fit with very little work. They are on a 10" wheel and tire width is about 10.5". i have the fronts on now with spacers and 165's the rears have 275/50's now on a 10" wheel but the gap is terrible between the tire and wheel....i didn't know the 275 was 28" haha guess ive got enough room for a 4" drop :hammer:
ok so i will gain 2" since i have 275/50s and sport lines are a 2 inch drop so that should be perfect 4" O0
