Im thinking about painting my old 16 inch bullets black and rocking them for a while untill I can afford tires.

I can get shitty sumis in 285/30/18 for 160 on the rear each...not bad considering any other size is like 250-400 a tire lol

i would rather have 17x9s with a Kick @ss Tire than 18x10.5s with a POS Sumitomo Tire.

Buying sumitomo's pretty much makes your wide rims useless

Considering I have 400+ dollar Michelin Pilot Sports and dont get any traction at all I dont see a differance.

My 80 dollar fuzion zris 245s on 16 inch rims out perform the 400 dollar tires everytime as far as stright line traction

Probably cause of my huge drop and no sidewall on with 18 inch rims but the 18s look so damn sexy!


18 inch wheels+ tires are way better in the corners than the 16s though
My car handles like its on rails!

Highway off ramps 75-80 mph!

Pilot Sports are a Tire for Handling.... Why would you care about off the line performance anyways? If you want to drag race get drag radials... if you wanna do really driving get some PS2s are Nitto 555's or somthing in the High End department.

Just wait till you get massive snap oversteer because the sumi's suck so bad.

Your car will end up in a ditch or in a wreck.

This is the way i think about it. When i see a REALLY NICE CAR will amazing everything...great power mods, sexy body, clean paint, a GREAT wheel set up i think "Hell Yeah!!!".... But then i see Sumi's on the car and everything chances.... When i see sumis on a HOT NICE MODDED CAR i think that the owner went cheap and i know for a fact the driver isnt a "Driving Enthusiast"

I'm running stock isos up front, and poly isos out back.
My shocks/struts are Tokico HP's. As SRT Handz mentioned shocks/struts have nothing to do with the ride height of our vehicles.

I only pay like 90 bucks for fuzion zris for the 16s and theyre amazing for the money.

Any 16 inch tire is gonna be cheap.... it when you go up to 17's that they get a little more pricy.... 18's are just STUPID expensive
