My stock cobra brakes were a bit mushy to begin with, so I rebuild the calipers with new seals etc, cleaned everything, put some new motorcraft pads in, sanded and cleaned the rotor (still plenty life left), put some new 99+ brakelines on (after reading they're almost as good as stainless ones compared to our stock lines). Bled the system... bedded everything in..
I still have a mushy pedal feel. The brakes bite better now, but the pedal travel untill they really start slowing me down still feels too sloppy.
Is this normal? should I bleed them again, or is there air in the master cylinder? If so, what has to be done?
