My 00 gt and 03 cobra

Figured I would throw up a couple pics of my 00 gt and 03 cobra. GT has mach 1 hood, 03 cobra bumper and side skirts. non pi bottom end, ported pi heads, bullet racing nitrous cams etc. Cobra has a mac catback untouched other than that.

Yea seen a couple stock ones around here for sale. Ive had mine for about 3 years now took it on power tour with dad two years and just weekend cruise every now and again with it. It has around 27,5xx miles on it after mustang week this year.

Thanks. I've got a 96 gt with built 4v swap and a 02 gt I'll post some pics of them after get them back together. Doing a turbo setup on 96 and the 02 spun rod bearing so swapping motor out.

Both sweet cars, curious that you have a "built" gt and a stock cobra haha. Whatever floats your boat, i think its cool!

Can't bring myself to really mod the cobra. Car is to nice and has plenty of power for the street as it is.

GT had a bottle and built rearend with 3.73 gears but due to being my dd now has no bottle and stock rearend back in it. When it had the 3.73 gears and 125 shot it would leave cobra. GT has aje front end under it and use to have strange 10way adjustable struts and shocks. The rearend and struts and shocks have been swapped to the 96 and gt now has Maximum motorsports bilsteins, mm sub frame connectors, mm panhard bar and saleen sway bars.

Sweet, sounds like you have experienced a lot of different ways to mod a mustang. Blower, spray, drag suspension, grip suspension, irs, live axle, etc. Do you have a favorite setup?

Depends on what you want to do with car. GT use to hook pretty hard with the strange setup and qa1 coilover setup. The new setup handles alot better and the cobra is smoother but I don't think it grips as good as the GT. Not a fan of wheel hop that the irs has but being as my car is almost stock it doesn't wheel hop real bad. Got a friend with a ported eaton with all supporting mods on his 04 cobra and broke two half shafts at dragstrip with drag radials on it.

nice rides! i like how you have a silver 00 GT and a black 03 Cobra. just makes me laugh because i have an 00 silver GT and would like to someday get a black 03 Cobra lol.

i have to say to go along with your previous statement i have driven/been in an irs cobra and obviously my gt has sra, and my GT hooks way better than his cobra does. i hammer it and it goes with not a lot of wheel spin and i have 4.10's. meanwhile my buddys 01 cobra he cant get any traction in 1st, and minimal traction in 2nd. not sure if thats an irs thing or if my tires are just better tires. he too has 4.10's.

i dig the mach 1 on the GT you really dont see that too often! interested in seeing some more pix and pix of your other rides man

I am a huge fan of silver. The 02 gt is silver and a stock automatic car was my DD but spun a rod bearing. The 96 gt is also silver and would of bought a silver cobra but couldn't pass up the black when I found it plus hard to find stock 03 04 cobra with low miles these days. I'll get more pics of the 00gt what would you like to see?
