I drover my car maybe an hour ago, started like a champ. I got in to move cars around, fixing to storm. Nothing!! Dad & I took off both battery terminals & cleaned them up. Nothing still. Sorry, I'm dumb as ever when it comes to cars. There's a wire that is on the positive side. Removed that & cleaned it. Nothing. I even hooked up dad's Ram to maybe jump me off. Nothing. I think my battery is charged & stuff. Something is wrong somewhere. Hoped 1 of you might know where. I'm sure I explained this wrong. Tell me of crap I forgot to type. Piece of shoe car!!! Thanks!!

Do you still have the stock alarm/pats system? did you try unlocking and locking the car with the key fob to see if the starter kill is engaged. I tripped my pats once when I first bought my car and had no clue what I did or how to get it going again.

No clicks or anything. I turn the key, liker there's not even a battery hooked up to it. It's done this in the past & I just wiggle my positive post. Then fires right off. I carry a 1/2 wrench now for this reason. Yes, it has some kind of alarm on it. Every time I re attach the + side, comes on. Because of that, I know I have juice in my battery. This stuff is like a foreign language to me. I knew the wiggle trick, that's it for my knowledge! I knew it should @ least click. I just have no clue. Really upset with my car right now!! Thanks!!

I think dad said something about the solenoid? I heard it before, but have no idea. Aren't they now part of the starters? That comes from my former life. That's all I got. Thanks again.

So I had it towed to my mechanic's. It was a pain loading it on the truck, but we got it. Not as much of a pain removing it. I coasted it in where he could look @ it. I just tried to start it to show him what it was not doing. Fired right off! He is going to look to see if something's not right. Makes no sense. See ya!!

I'm thinking the positive wire that goes to your fusebox may be very corroded or loose

Bobby, my mechanic, is pretty sure it was my Ravelco Anti-Theft Device plug. Maybe didn't have the right connection. That was my 1st thought. I 1st made sure it was plugged in good. I then took it out & re-inserted it. I know twice last night & once before the tow truck came. All I know is it fired right up. He said he looked over every thing. He said it looked perfect, why he thought it was that plug. My HID's got put in today & not tomorrow morning. He went ahead & knocked that out. Had my tires rotated, too. Who really knows? Maybe it was my car's time of the month? It's been running very good, had to stop sometime. Thanks!!
