so i'm close to having enough cash for my new hood, header panel, headlights, pony, and spoiler but once i get all this stuff i can't decide wether or not to go with a cheap paint job (macco) or an expensive one (custom shop $2000+)

I mean my car is just a GT it's not a show car and i'm REALLY sick of seeing my hood peeling like it got bad sunburn so a cheap paint job seems like the better option right now.

But i know down the road it will bother me that it's a cheap paint job.

but then again for all i know the motor could decide to cease living tomorrow or the day after i get it painted but if this car does last me a long time it will eat away at me that i have a bottom of the line paint job.

what do you guys think?

The prep before paint is what makes the biggest difference in the quality looking, cheap paint job.
