Starting this thread to show the progress on my car. Since it is getting a complete paint job I decided not to go Laser Red again and instead the entire car is being repainted Redfire Metallic from the 03-04 cobras

First pic with the new paint color sprayed

Updated 5/23/2012, car is done!!

Got my Mustang back from the autobody shop Friday, here are some garage pics.

Paint still needs to be buffed out

Rims with new BFG's mounted, cleaned them up and moved over my pony centercaps

This was the rim that had lip damage, I sanded down all the damaged area and repolished the lip completely. Looks good as new.

that will look so freaking good! glad you could save the rim too... any other plans for it?

One little surprise that has already been dropped off at the shop, nothing major, just a piece I always wanted but didn't want to pay for paintwork

For now though this is about all I have. Closer pic of the door paint. Pretty PPG paint.

Honestly the wait is killing me, it's been one full month since I started all this and I still have a couple more weeks to go.

Good thing I don't need the car on a daily basis so I have the luxury of letting the shop take it's time and do it right.

Sickkkk!! I love Redfire so much that I painted my old '95 Redfire as well instead of Laser Red. Here's a few pics to get you excited...

Thanks, I had them on the car a whole week. Pulled them off and put the OEM 16" wheels back on before the body work/paint started

I bought them 2nd hand but they were 100% perfect when I got them (except the cheap tires), they were bought new from http://www.oewheelsllc.com/

I didn't think anyone liked redfire. My brother despises it but I think it looks nice. think it will look classy on an older sn95 rather than the newedges.
