Gut it, Gears, Slicks, Spray it till it pukes all over the track.

Ive taken this approach. Ive already gone 13.2 with just bolt ons, suspension, weight reduction and slicks. Now im installing the spray. :)

wow man i had a 94 gt coup Auto back in the day with off road h, CAI, and i ran a 14.7 at 98mph with just a little advanced timeing and some 93 gas.

your car probably weighs a few hundred more then that car but damn 16.0

yeah before you upgrade make sure you get your car tuned up because there is something wrong.

check what your 60 foots were they should be 2.1 or better and if not then you were spinning or something.
60' times are in the area 2.3 or lower but deff not out of the 2.0 range cleaned the throttle body today and it looked like mud coming out of the houseing. also cleaned the MAF and same thing dirty car has more up and go but will only know when I can get it back to the track....

Im betting the Maf will help alot... my car could barely do a burnout before I cleaned the MAF, felt like I gained 50 hp from cleaning it...

2.3 eww what size and kind of tires do you have in the rear? and did you hold the brake and hit the gas a tad wile at the tree? and slam the gas and let go of brake when you left?

also don't forget the change yours cap and rotor or your wires and spark plugs it is part of a tune up.

my 95 b4 i did a motor swap ran a 14.2 at 100mph wit a 2.0 60ft. Thats full bolt ons but the things that made the biggest difference was the 4:10 gear and cleaning the maf. Felt like a whole different car

Now that the 4.10 gears are in the car really aint hooking up MAf is clean well cleaned up haha throttle body stock replace is sitting on the counter in the kitchen will put that on with the GT40 intake... Umm dropped 5mph with the 4.10(not hooking at ALL) EGR eliminator plug helped a little feels like a little more snap think EGR was going bad along with the IAC will some time just stall when i put it into reverse did replace the rear shocks brother inlaw laughed at the ones we took off kinda shoot....... But more stuff to bolt on headers and such..... Hope this think starts to take off or my program will be a bust.. www.beattheheatinc.org check it out

<-- ran 13.6 with 3:73's, King cobra clutch, BBK h-pipe, BBK CAI, Pro 5.0 shifter, GT-40 Intake, and Nitto NeoGen Tires 275/40/17 rears and donut tires up front.. 13's is not hard to find if you can drive. My car is a 95 GT ( 302 )
