New member. My ride. Wheel powder coat ideas?

This is my sonic 96 gt and my cousins mustang cali95gt. I have antracite fr500 and I'd like to powder coat them because the finish is a bit iffy now. Not sure what color though. Any ideas please post. Also, I have cobra hood, front & rear bumper sitting around waiting to be painted same color if that changes your opinion on what color i should do.

Thanks. Yea I was thinking like a high gloss black. But I think my blue is a bit dark for that. That's what I'm leaning torwards though

Yes that was my other suggestion. All silver even the polished lip in silver? i was thinking like a satin silver all around. Lip and everything...

That would look pretty nice. I think your right about your car looking bad with all black wheels

I personally think the color of the Subaru STi wheels, that gold color would be different. It would be hard to pull off, but I think it would look sick and definitely unique

Yea. Gold is tough. I would rock the 10th anniversary in gold. But idk about the fr500

Silver would set off that paint, or chrome. Anything with a bright finish since the color is dark. Or just go with dark wheels because people go that route also.

I vote sliver with a polished lip, lke the OEM FR's. Also sell the rear cobra bumper that you mentioned you had....dont need a GT with the words cobra on it.

Gold with a polished lip would be absolutely sick.

You know what... That does make sense. I never thought about it that way. I guess I'll get the saleen rear bumper. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. But ill do silver or a gloss black. But like I said the finish is messed up. I cleaned them with the wrong material. If I get them painted silver will it be easy to get the same finish on the dish, and the polished lip?

are you just going to put the Saleen rear bumper on? or do you have Saleen skirts to go with it? cause if you put saleen bumpers and saleen skirts on it'd look Sick with those fr500s IMO

I personally like the cobra bumper. Once done with my build in a couple months, I'll have about 550rwhp. So I feel like I deserve to have it. 94-95 guys like the 96+cobra bumpers. All that makes them a cobra is there heads and intake pretty much.
