Nice i just went also for my the first time although my times are not as good as yours but good times though
i just got my 3:73 put in just haven't had time to go back to the track.. i'll let u know when i do go
i believe you had a 3.27 prior however i know little about the modular generations, personaly if i had a motor than spun to 7k from the factory i would have gone with atleast a 3.90 If you ran a 13.8 with a 3.27 you should probably be around a 13.4-13.3 with the new gear provided you can properly launch the car.
I never knew that the 96-98 only went to 6k. I was assuming that he was running a p/i intake and head motor which spinns 7k from the factory. If his is just a plain jain 96-98 he has way to big of injectors.
Even with the PI swap you aren't going to rev to anywhere near 7k without cams and valve springs. Even with that you probably would go much past 6500 rpm. The highest a PI car would want to go is about 6200 rpm.
