Went out to the track the other day and ran against and 03 GT. Beat him by about a car length and a half (crappy driver though lololol) heres the times
The only things i have done to my car are PI intake, BBK X pipe, some Flows, and a Pro Ripper short throw.

Hahaa thanks man. Ive been out there a couple times. It definitely took a couple trys to get dialed in right. I ran it 4 times and i think on average i had around a .010 R/T.

an intake and header back exhaust will get our year GT's moving that much? I'm impressed! Obviously it takes some skilled driving as well. That other guys reaction time was terrible lol. Even my first time at the track was better than that!

Yeah its pretty much all stock besides the boltons listed above. Yeah he did have a horrible R/T... I think he was day dreaming of how bad he "thought" he was going to beat me. hahaha

Do you have stock gears too? I still have the plastic crossover intake, so I'll have to change mine out for that reason alone eventually. Great driving hitting those mid 14's! That other guy goes to show that it doesnt matter what you drive, you have to know how to drive it! aaaaand he did not. lol

Hahahah yeah im still running stock gears. If i had the set i want im sure i would have pulled on him in the 1/8 mile a lot more than i already had. Although i was .200 faster than him in the 1/8th he was definitely pulling back on me. i trapped 73MPH when he trapped a 76MPH

yep. I didnt get a good look at them when i was there but im pretty sure he was running a good 315 for sure. That should be plenty enough to get that all stock pi off the line faster than that.

Ok, so the guy with the 03 has some work to do. I took my box stock 03 gt to our local track, installed a canned tune on it, it had a shifter and a cat back on it, that's it, no gears, nothing and I went a 13.7. I can't believe a PI car with 4.10's is running in the 14's. That's insane. I have a customer that can't shift to save his life, that runs 13.0's with is car, and finally broke into the 12's with long tubes and a cold air kit, through cats. Just sayin.

oh yeah i understand this was not a fair race on my part. He should have been pulling on me all the way down the track. The slips dont lie though... what he got was what he got. lol

Yeah i cant say much though. Im about to throw a PI into my car that i pulled out of an 01 Bullitt. Picked it up for next to nothing. I got everything for under $450. I'm going to work it over a little bit and try to keep it in a reasonable budget if i can. lol

But pi vs npi isnt huge normally

I ran 14.0 @ 100-101 with my bolt on NPI auto all day

Oh yeah man, for sure. For the most part i picked up the engine so i could work on it and build it up while still maintaining a daily driver. What kind of bolt ons were you running on your NPI? (gears, headers, intake, etc.?)
