so i was hearing a tick from my motor today. it was just 2 header bolts starting to back out easy fix. but while i was doing that i noticed that there is oil on the vacuum line off of the upper intake on the drivers side by the fire wall.
this picture is only for reference but works just the same.

the black vacuum connector pictured.

is this because
A: to much crankcase pressure?
B: bad pcv valve?
C: oil feeding through valve cover going to the cia?

i want to fix this soon cause i dont like burning oil that costs $7 a qt

thanks everyone.

i'll call up the local ford dealer in the morning. with my luck they will want like $50 for the two.

the pcv seemed fine when i installed my cobra intake a few months back. I cant remember if i checked the screen or not tho.

it will most likely be an easy fix. It wasnt a large amount of oil just enuf to soak the vacuum hose about 1/2 an inch from the intake connection. i might just reline the entire pcv system tomorrow.
