I just got up under the car last night to throw on the Borla Stingers and i noticed some gear oil. Went farther up and saw what appears to be the pinion washer has gone bad and puked Gear oil everywhere. A guy locally says he can install a gear and rebuild the stock traction lock for 300 bucks. What i have been looking at is the Ford Rebuild kit and Gear install kits.
The
M-4210-C
M-4700-B
and a 3.73 gear. I bought the gear off 97mustanggt.
I am now thinking i should just buy a whole rebuild kit like from LMR that has everything so it for sure doesn't whine.

What do you guys think.
I could go all out and get a Detroit locker and 31 spline axles but my car is a street car i will rarely ever get to the drag strip so i think i should be just fine with the stock Traction Lock rebuilt.
Give me some opinions
