Got the wife a new to us SHO. Its a 93 ATX with 88k on it, Its in real good shape.
We have a 94 MTX that she was driving but it needs some work. We're going to get it fixed and let my 16yo son drive it.

I love them shos O0 O0... I had a 97 with the v8 and on the road it would surprise a couple of people.. But, ran into notorious cam problem that we fixed and then decided to sell it.

Sweet car! I moved out of the house in '97. Where I moved to there was a green SHO in thst city for sale. I test drove it and I wanted it so bad!! Needless to say, I could not get it! Cool to see and remember the one I wanted though! Give us the specs on it!

220 HP
220 ft/lb

They are good highway cars. They can hold up to 550 HP with stock internals.

Yup the autos are 3.2 V6 and the 5spd's have 3.0 V6's.

It's now coming back, a little. That's why I wanted it so bad! It had the 5.0!! It was green with tan leather! That is my fav color combo! It was an automatic, I think. The lady was selling it because she got a BMW! She made mannequins!

They feel real strong. They have a great top end, good for a family car. Im thinking about getting another one for myself for a daily-driver and keep the Mustang for a weekend toy.

Just to let you know on our 94 with the 5spd, I got it to 130mph in 3rd gear. They like to rev, I try to keep it under 7-grand.....lol

nice cars!
i got rid of mine just over a year ago.. well actually the rod bearings went when i was on a trip to BC and it would've cost more to haul it back and fix it then it would've to just leave it.. so i left it :(

fun cars tho.. surprise a LOT of people.

the specs on em are 220hp and 200ft/lbs for the 3.0.. and 220hp and 215ft/lbs for the 3.2

that thing revved like a son of a bitch. gotta love em.. hell to maintain but lots of fun.

I thought they also had a v8 sho with a yamaha motor in it??

The 96+'s have 3.4 V8's in them, but the cams suck in them. You have to get the cams welded to keep the gears from free-spinning on them.
