paint ideas on the 65.

car is originaly poppy red, and i hate the color with a passion... was concidering painting it a white, because thats just a classic, yet timeless color...

also concidered the gulf oil colors, but i want to here ideas, or possibly photoshops...

In my opinion if you are gonna paint it something other then the original color then go all out and do something cool and different with it. There are enough traditional stangs out there so if you are not going to go stock then go all out.

My paint job is being based a lot of the Trans Am racers of the late 60's.

But its a long ways away.

No, gulf oil colors are blue and orange, mainly seen on gt40s in the 60s, but they sponsored other cars too.

Also I'm not sure who mentioned it, but the trans am race car is sort of what I'm going for... But more of a trans am clone for the street...
