What color is your car now, and are you repainting it the same color, or a different color, if different. What color are you going with?

It's Vibrant Red... (Later called performance red I think) I kinda want to stick with this color, but I've also been considering black. The only thing keeping me from doing it would be painting my engine bay and door jams. If I get someone to help me, I might make the conversion. ;]

If not though, I'm planning on mixing in some magical pearly powder with the paint to give the new red a little more depth. Or going with a different shade of red altogether.

You think black is tough? try silver

Good luck on the process, we are here if you need us. If i was you i would stay away from metallics till your comfortable spraying. There are numerous ways Metallics will mess up a paint job of a beginer. Solid white, yellow, blue lighter colors is where you want to start. Stay away from heavy metallics, silvers, blacks, reds.

If you painted your car Black... i would love you forever... LOL... Black is a pimp ass color! I've had 2 Mustangs, a Silver one, and a Black one... My dream Mustang has always been a Black '95 GT, but my silver one was sexy too... Just look at my myspace i got in my sig... there's pictures of my current '95, and also of my '99... I think my car is album 3, "chris's '95 GT" or something, and then the '99, is the ONLY Silver car i have pics of. LOL

agreed....if you do go with your vibrent red...make sure you mark your psi and stick to it....with metallics your psi will determine how your flakes lay down and if your psi differs then your colors will look totally different....make sure you practice some metallics if you are going to do it
