I need some up close pics of the tire on the wheels of aftermartket Deep dish bullitts.. I want to see where the tire and the wheel meet.. Front and rear wheels..

I dont have deep dish, but here is my front wheels. 17x9 with a lip.

that just depends on the tire. tire size and whether it has a lip protector or not.
nittos 275s on a 9 inch rim.

ya man, depends on the tire. Definately get one with plus sizing if avaliable. looks better and protects from curb rash - if you GF is driving

What is your guys thoughts on a 285/40R17 on a 17X9 rim? Is there any rub issues with anything?? Because Im looking at putting my 275 NT555's on the front and putting 285 on the rear. Sorry to rob post.

Nittos run small, so if you go with a 285 nitto tire you should be ok. I wouldnt try it with a bfg or anything though. 275 in a normal width tire is probably about as big as you want to run on a 9 inch wheel.

OK here is what i am talking about.. This was on my 02 GT.. Look at where the wheel and tire meet.. See how the rim kinda sticks out... The tires are 315 sumotumo's and i am trying to see if people with after market fron wheels i guess they come in 17x9 dont look that way.. The reason i ask is i seen a 98 with black bullits and the tires looked like that all 4 corners..

cheaper tires dont have the extra rubber on the tire itself that sticks out past the lip of the wheel to protect it from curb damage.

when the tire sticks out further than the wheel lip - that is called plus size.
if your shopping tires, they can tell you if the tire has it and how far it sticks past. O0

yes sumitomos do not have a lip protector.

Nope, sumi's don't have the lip protector... That's why I'm glad mine are done for and my nitto's are in the mail..
