My buddy's 91 galant vr4. Fun car to drive but a PITA to work on. He picked it up in PA and drove it to NY. Car sat around for a year+ but started right up. Has some old school HKS setup on it with a rebuilt motor that had 1000 miles on it. On the way up the turbo/IC pipe blew off so it had no boost the whole way. Got it up to NY and I got the pipe back on and tightened down everything i could. IT was making decent boost, in fact probably too much boost. it was hitting 36lbs at WOT with no tune. Lowered boost down to 25lbs which is as low as it will go. Runs like crap, which i expected with no tune but figured it had a leak somewhere since it's running more horrible than I figured it should. Played with some fuel settings and did a leak down test... Huge leak somewhere but couldn't figure out where it was. We decide to take the HKS setup off when i saw 2 bolts missing and then found the answer to the boost leak which is in the 4th and 5th pic.....

At least it gives me something to work on until i get my car up here

Yea it is! I'm half tempted to put together a turbo setup for my car after i get it running again. This car surprised the hell out of me. With the boost leaks and no tune it was still giving quite a few cars (to include evo's) a run for their money
