Ive seen a few cylinders like that and havent narrowed down the reason why it's there. Either something went through the cylinder while running or a fault at manufacturing, debris, or something. At 1st i thought it to be stress crack, but dang the crack is perfect with piston operation, so that thought ruled that guess out. Im leaving it at debris thru the cylinder especially the way these things spit plugs out.

This one had definitely ingested something, likely an plug electrode from the looks of one of the pistons. I don’t know if it was the same cylinder.

No progress on the actual build, but working on the stereo. Got the head unit in. This thing is awesome. It’s android based and I am going to run Torque pro for my gauges. Hope to clean up my gauge cluster to just speedo, tach, boost and afr.

Working on the stereo a little more. Replaced the stock Mach 460 speakers and ran all the wires.

Not a lot of visible changes. Blaupunkt 5x8s in the factory locations. Factory “tweeters” replaced by Power Acoustik 1” tweeters. Rear view camera wired up. 12” sub and amps going in tomorrow.
