Besides Yuke, are there any other projectors that won't take away from the look of our front ends? I'd buy Yukes in a heartbeat, but I just cant swing that right now. I would like to better improve the light output and I've driven a vehicle with projectors and love them. I'm gonna get some for my ZJ because I don't exactly care how they look on that thing lol, but for the Mustang, it's essential that it looks good.

So pretty much are there any decent looking projector headlights or am I stuck with just HID's?

The smoked lense definately helps. Why are you looking to get new headlights?
Remember, those aftermarket mustang projectors won't have the cutoff line like those top end BMW projector headlights.

I have HID's and I couldn't be happier. Just aim it lower and bit more to the right than you would with halogens so you don't blind otherws. The HID's are great at night and makes the car look young.

I'm sporting some projectors, but the general consensus around these parts is that no one likes them. I like 'em so thats what matters to me. Dual Halo Smoked Raxioms. Got 'em for $120ish off ebay.

With the smoked lense they would look pretty good, but the chrome looks terrible imo. I'm lookin to get some depo projector headlights for my 95 and HID's.

I disagree, my aftermarket projectors have a nice cutoff. The hard part is trying to align them. They may not be the nicest but it's def much much better than putting them in a factory housing.

There are plenty of people in my area that have put HID's in factory housings and no matter how you try and swing it there is always glare that blinds you.

KillN' , the ones you posted from American muscle are ones I've seen on numerous new edges and they look pretty decent. My suggestion is to get those and put HID's in them until you have the coin to do a retrofit. Theretrofitsource.com is a great site to start looking at for kits to do it yourself and from what I heard its not that bad of a project. I know that's def on my list once I get everything sorted with my car for mine and for my dads '11 gt.

I have projector HID retrofits in my car. Not made by Yuke, but his competitor Stock15D. His lights are awesome and have a great cutoff(of course they need adjusting as my adjusters are shot). But of course come with a pricetag as well..

If you do not run HIDs, and are worried about light output, I would advise against Smoked lenses. That is all I have ever had on my car and is what im running now with my retrofits.

I would say get some HIDs and be done man

Steve-oh, I've seen cars with halogens that blind me more than my own HIDs. Obviously you will never get no glare, after all, they are lights.

And the cut off, I was just speaking from my experience with projectors that I had in my old 98 gt. I'm sure if you payed more you can find better ones.

I'm running HID's in my stock assemblies, and yeah, the light spread is insane. I personally really like the smoked projector headlight s you posted from AM, I've been debating getting them myself. I just can't stand all the others with their LED's and halo's.

On new edges...any of the aftermarket (AmericanMuscle, etc) brand projectors look terrible...retro-fits are the only way to go.

On SN95s...Depo projectors are decent, and even better if you open them up and paint the inside black (like a few members on here have). But nothing compares to retro-fits.

I saw retrofitsource and to be completely honest I was lost. I didn't even know where to begin. I'm not a moron, at least not a complete moron, but things like that just baffle me lol. If I knew what to look for it would be different. I would totally retrofit some, but not in my current housing. Reason being if I fukk it up I need to have somthing to put back in haha.

Not trying to jack business from Yuke or anyone else for that matter, because I know mine will look NOTHING like a professionals, but if someone could point me in the right direction as to what projectors I should look into from the source as well as how to go about doing the whole thing... That would be greatly appreciated :) And I would totally go for the HID's in the projectors, I think that would be the best of both worlds IMO. I just drive a lot at night on dark ass roads and the stock head lights (being only a 9007 as opposed to a dual bulb set up) just suck even with my silverstar ultras. I was trying to avoid my current HID's that I have because they're either bright or off and too many people used to flash me when I had them in my ZJ so I ripped them out and put the ultras in. Currently there are no headlights in the Mustang lol.

Thanks for the advice guys. Gotta say after I posted it I thought for sure I was gonna get flamed for trying to put something "modern" in a New Edge

I have to say, after researching the AM ones, its kinda gay that they aren't HID's. What's the point of halogen projector headlights? HID bulbs use projector style lenses so as not to splash light everywhere. Halogen is so dim it NEEDS to be splashed everywhere.
