I didn't post it here much, but getting the motor to run right was a huge pain in the ass. The builder gave the car back to me with a lot of issues, some of which included but were not limited to incomplete tune, leaking fluids, header gasket blowing out, camshaft gear grinding off, torque specs being all over the place. Every time I'd bring the car back for something to get fix, more issues would arise afterwards. Basically, the motor was built like crap, wasn't reliable, wasn't running right, didn't make the power on dyno, and leaked oil from both ends, and rocker stud broke. Oh and here is the best part: every time something broke during disassembly and reassembly, I got charged. If something didn't fit right, the builder would spend a lot of time and money trying to get it to fit, rather than just consult with me how to approach this next. For example, some of the bullshit charges were, driving the block to and front machine shop, spending 400 dollars trying to fit a harmonic balancer, the list goes on and on. The builder seemed to be very proud of how clean the engine bay was, yet completely overlooked everything else that really mattered. Hell is gonna freeze over before I go back to that shop.
The shop is Wild Pony Motorsports. If anyone lives in Los Angeles and is thinking of using that shop, I'd highly suggest to reconsider.
