I ordered a new shifter bezel and leather boot, so that will get fixed up soon. I need to pull the dash bezel and paint it.

Went out last night and got a datalog. I needed a 3rd gear pull from 2K rpm to 6k rpm. The tire spin was real.
Had a little breaking up in there after the pull too. We’ve got some work to do, but it’s starting to make power.

I like the 6r80 a lot. It takes a good bit to make it shift just right with a loose converter, but it’s great. The low first gear is nice because rear gears don’t have to be steep, then cruise rpm is lower.

Got the car loaded up last night and the front tires swapped. I’ll swap the rears at the track. 
Then put in a fresh set of plugs in the parking lot at work. Now I’m waiting for the gates to open.

First pass, right lane. It’s got some tune stuff to sort out. It broke up real bad and unloaded on the shifts. It’s fun though.

Turned out, the car was staying lean almost the whole pull. I have to check fuel pressure tomorrow. It’s got a lot left in it.

Oh I bet mph wise there’s more to gain and the 60ft can improve some yet . Wouldn’t be surprised if she goes 137 next time out .

Oh yeah, the 60 will be better for sure. It left nice and right after the hit, it fell flat on its face, then got back in to power and unloaded again. It’s got something going on.

Hooked up a boost sensor and fuel pressure gauge. Now I can monitor them right on the dash. Also found out it’s only making 6psi of boost. So that’s pretty cool. I can still turn it up! Lol

Love the dash . If that’s on 6psi, 10psi is going to be a blast . Mine needs an anti roll bar . Still cut 1.6 60fts on a front side no prep .

Yea I did was no prep . 7.58 at 91 was the best with a 1.6 60ft the car needs more timing up top finally figured out why it cuts out around 5700 not enough timing it’s blowing the spark out . 7.68 and bunch of 7.70’s . There’s only 11 degrees timing in it at 13psi when it cuts out around 5700 so time to adjust it and test . 3.90’s or 4.10’s are in the future and a anti roll bar

Tuner made some changes today! So far it’s making a HUGE difference. I finally got a clean pull, without it going lean and breaking up. And it made 10 psi. It pulled hard enough that it kind of took my breath away. I’m getting ready to go get another log.
