right...well i dont plan to swap the good ol trusty iron duke 2.5L it has anytime soon. its pretty fn reliable and i dont care too much about it being fast anyway. so if i did do a swap it would simply be to take the truck to a different level. not race or anything. just not my thing.

S dimes were the platform for my first hot rods. The opportunities with them are endless due to the great aftermarket support for them. I was actually looking for one when I stumbled upon my current ride. I can remember lining up to countless 5.0 mustangs in them. Packing close to 430 hp, if I got traction, all but the real serious guys would get walked on. Plus gettin 16 mpg with a 750 double pump was pretty awesome also if I could keep my foot out of it. There is no easier vehicle clean up the body, weld in panels are made to smooth out everything from the tailgate, to the door handles, even the taillights.

i dont really build minis for racing man lol. i think of them as art work. seriously.....i like the custom body work, suspension work and interiors. but yea....def a perfect truck for building a pro street or drag. just not my thing.

I say do it up! But you know me, haha.

Cough put an LS in it cough. Haha. Even if it was a stock LS it would be fun and still be reliable and get decent MPG.

I'm interested! I used to have a 1990 s10 single cab with a stick in it..one of the funnest little trucks I've owned..it was only for about a month but I had a glass pack on it and drove it like a bat outta hell.

My son has a 93 s15 and wants to 350 swap into it. I say keep the 4.3 and let it ride. Kids don't listen.
