Well...I'm aiming towards road racing...I have a long list of future suspension mods, parts should be rolling in soon...I also have to replace my rear end saldly...so this build maybe a tad slow but lets jump things off now..

.Before working on performance or suspension there was something I had to get out of the way...

That bumper....Now...there was a time when I was nieve and thought this looked decent....but as a few months passed I noticed how ugly it was ...especially from the side...Also you can really tell but those are cheap apc side markers...imitation cobra side markers

One day I noticed another stanger driving past.....laughing.... I'd had enough

Thanks CJ Pony Parts for the 20% off sale on lights

I rejoiced on the inside...shipping was right on time
I sealed these hardcore with Clear RTV Silicone by the way..forgot to take pics of the sealing

My first bumper removal...pretty easy

dark and cold...but I was all amped inside....

I have to shape that area down in the grill area...shipping wasnt nice with this...had to sand a couple spots

Bumper painted by yours truly...:D
I need 2 new fenders also...those will come when the whole car gets repainted, you can really tell on the passenger side fender.

The first bumper I've ever installed.....feels good

The side markers line up so much better with the headlights now lol

Up next... New rear end ...Then 2" drop on H&R super sports and chin spoiler

Stay tuned......

im so glad you took that bumper off!!!! your car looks like a mustang now!!!! good job and the painting too, keep it up

Thanks! I definitely keep it up!! I was shocked with it myself

That looks really good to be done with a spray can man.

Thanks man, I was nervous doing it but it's all about consistent strokes especially with the clear coat

The new bumper looks much better! It may be the best "mod" you ever do to your car haha

I feel like it was the best mod ever...like a weight has been lifted off my neck

Yeah congrats, it turned out great! How did you paint it? what type paint did you use? I need to touch up some areas on my car, but I'm too poor to have it done professionally and too scared to try to spray it myself

I went to a local place called byrds auto...they have loads of paint...I got some performance white paint in a rattle can that said "with flex" on it..I can remember the manufacturer ... the clear coat said the same (polyureathane).....

The bumper is from keystone....a junk yard ordered it for me, it came primed, i had to sand a few shipping scuff a bit more then the rest of the bumper.

Don't fear touch ups or painting in general...keep your stokes consistent about 5-7 inches away to avoid lines, cross stroke with a horizontal stroke...then a vertical stroke...especially when doing red or black, which are the hardest colors to rattle can
