Your asking the impossible. You wont find a cheap tire that grips well and handles good in the rain. Nitto DR's are great street tires but are not good in the rain. You can go w/ an actual street tire that grips awesome but is still not that great at the track b/c it is a street tire like the BF Goodrich KDW's or Good Year Eagle F1's but they are expensive, especially in the size you want

Get the nittos from steeda...they are the cheapest place I found.

In the size of 315/35/17 they are $352 shipped from Discount Tire Direct. They are $414 shipped from Steeda

I got my 555R's from Steeda for $142 each (275/40/17) - that was cheaper than any other place. Shop around you'll find good prices on eBay too.

That was a 275 of course they are cheaper. Bigger the tire = more the cost considering he was asking about 295's. Steeda does not offer a 295 Nitto according to their website anyyway

My NT555R's are just fine in the rain as long as you don't drive like an ass..which you shouldn't be anyways.
