If my AC goes I'd think about ditching it but there are those 4-5 days in the summer when it hits 95degrees and uber humidity that makes me consider keeping it. Showing up to work all sweaty from a hot car and leather seats isn't my idea of fun.

Yea, I dont know.

Im gonna try to recharge it again, if it just blows out then im gonna ditch it

the door panels in these cars weight nothing.... A car is worthless without at least some klnd of radio, and justin is a flaming homo.

I'd get the a/c line fixed unless it's a dedicated track car....it's not worth it for a street car imo...hell even if you don't use it often it's still nice to have when you're taking your girl to the track or similar situations...

lol, im not gutting it...just removing a/c and sound deadening, ill still have full interior, carpet

That's even more gay. Yanking creature comforts for a car that sees a track a few times a year is flat f*cking retarded.

QFT! Paul is right, my car is my DD first, strip car second. Granted, I get terrible mileage and the car isn't exactly quiet, but it is very comfy to ride in, I HAVE A/C and love it and all power options and a decent sounding stereo. I don't think girls find gutted out, seats bolted to floor pans and nothing else cars fun to ride in...

id like it to be louder inside the car. i dont listen to the radio so i dont mind, although it would be even harder to have a convo while driving. i have the rear seat delete and a bare trunk , so its pretty damn loud.

and i disagree with you gentlemen. its not 'gay' or f**ng retarted. if you cant deal with not having ac then there would be no point but if it doesnt work (in my case) or if you dont use it then its something cheap to free up horses and lose some lbs.

my cobra is a DD and my only vehicle. i removed the ac stuff, and moved the battery to the back and i am very pleased with the results. when i get on it, i can feel it and it deff reduces nosedive while breaking. i run for fun on the streets with friends here and there and i think it was worth the 100bucks to remove 40lbs off the car and 25lbs to the trunk

oh and the car has never seen the track and wont for a while, plus unfortunately the nearest track is 3-4 hrs away.

For the weight savings of the AC. I would just say fix it. I would rather have AC for the time when i actually need it. I don't use mine but maybe once or twice a summer saying that i won't ever get rid of it.

I say fix the a/c unless you plan on racing it. I find that I like the creature comforts a lot more with each passing year and would hate to be without the a/c.

Lol, a lot of mention of "gayness" from you these days Paulieee.

Anyway, I dont think I will do much of anything thats going to make my car any worse of a street car.

I need to find a daily driver so I can do what I want with the stang

lol where is this shit coming from?

Im not touching door panels or the radio.

If anything it would be the rear seat, maybe a/c, and I thought about the sound deadener but I dont know how bad it would be without it?

I would be suprised if it was much worse than now?
